I’m not sure how it’s Tuesday again already, but here we are. At this rate, the four weeks until I leave one home for another will pass before I’m ready – assuming I will ever be “ready.”

This week has continued the rollercoaster of emotions as I started packing, planned and prepared for a farewell gathering next week, and started having some “lasts.” Despite thinking off and on throughout the day what I might write today, I have no new words of inspiration to share.

What I do have is music. Music is powerful. I’ve always known that, but lately, I find that when I don’t have words to express to God or others what’s going on in me, there is likely a song that will say what I can’t. Some songs reach deep inside with truths my heart needs to hear and isn’t willing to listen to in any other way.  Other songs stir emotions in me and bring thoughts or tears to the surface I didn’t even know needed to be released.

So today, I thought I’d share some of the songs that have ministered to me in the last few weeks. I hope they encourage you as well.
